The vast majority of the bills I'm processing today are for people who are already dead.
I just processed a long series of bills that started in a hospital, got progressively more expensive, then moved to an "End Stage Care Facility", then suddenly stopped.
That's really pretty sad.
ReplyDeleteI had some experiences like that, were I'd taken calls from nurses and health care professionals to doctors that got progressively more urgent as the day or days went on, until I received a call from a funeral home requesting information.
I always found that process the most unnerving.
