The vast majority of the bills I'm processing today are for people who are already dead.
I just processed a long series of bills that started in a hospital, got progressively more expensive, then moved to an "End Stage Care Facility", then suddenly stopped.

That's really pretty sad.
I had some experiences like that, were I'd taken calls from nurses and health care professionals to doctors that got progressively more urgent as the day or days went on, until I received a call from a funeral home requesting information.
I always found that process the most unnerving.
